Dwarkadhish Temple

The city of Dwarka in Gujarat’s Jamnagar district is considered to be a very holy city as it is one of the Chardham in the All-India Chardham circuits and is also one of the ‘Saptapuris’; i.e. the ‘seven holiest cities in Hinduism’. Dwarka as per myths had been the capital city of Lord Krishna in the ancient times. At that time Dwarka was a very prosperous city known by the name of ‘Swarna Dwarka’. In the present times, pilgrims from far and wide visit Dwarka to pay their tribute to the Dwarka Naresh or lord Krishna; the king of Dwarka.

Shivrajpur Beach

Shivrajpur Beach is located 12km from Dwarka (Gujarat) on Dwarka-Okha Highway which recently got Blue Flag beach certification. One of the most popular beaches of Gujarat. It is the best location to spend weekend time with family and kids. You can spot their Dolphin and some beautiful birds, depending on luck. After blue flag certification, Shivrajpur beach is now attracting tourists from all around India and the state government is also improving the beach by offering various facilities around.

Gomati Ghat

Gomti Ghat is situated at the mouth of Gomti River, a tributary of Holy Ganges, the most sacred river for all Hindus. The river originates in the Himalayan ranges of Nepal, flows down across many Indian states and finally empties into the Arabian Sea here. Gomti Ghat also has a great religious and mythological significance. According to myths River Gomati is the daughter of Sage Vashishta and her waters are powerful enough to purge one's mortal sins. Thus pilgrims make it a point to bathe in River Gomti and they usually take their holy dip into the Gomati Kund, the point of confluence of River Gomti and Arabian Sea.

Bet Dwarka

Bet Dwarka or Shankhodhar is an inhabited island at the mouth of the Gulf of Kutch situated 3 km off the coast of Okha, Gujarat, India. Once could reach the island via Boat for which there is nominal cost of 20 to 40 rupees per person. Northwest to southeast the island measures 13 km long with an average east-west width of 4 km. It is a strip of sandstone situated 30 km north of the town of Dwarka.
